The role is to work within the Customer Business Manager team to look after their broad range of customers, securing their business and looking to grow relationships and further opportunities with them.
You would support the customer and represent them internally, managing their requirements, stock, orders and proactively sharing market information.

Essential Requirements:

Previous Experience in Account Management / Customer Service - Training will be provided on product the products
Driving licence - the role will include travel to client sites approx. 4 days per monthThe Role / Responsibilities:

Be the customers first point of contact and represent them internally.
Offer a first-class customer service experience by maintaining and developing long term relationships with key customers and accounts across many levels.
Visit customers regularly and continuously keep them up to date with market and product updates.
Effectively manage customer's stock levels by using forecasts, proactively plan raw materials, explore alternative materials and provide stock recommendations and advice.
Develop and implement strategic plans to add value to both the customer and business.
Identify ways to grow customer accounts through new business opportunities.
Work cross-functionally with the internal team to ensure key timelines are hit and projects are working seamlessly.Requirements:

Driving Licence and own transport is essential pool cars are available for customer visits.
Have the right attitude and values are just as important to contribute to their high-performance culture.
Ability and high willingness to travel to customer account meetings with potential overnight stays. (approx. 4 times a month)
Proven experience, skills and knowledge in a Customer Service/Account Manager role.
Ability to build strong collaborative relationships both internally and externally with key customers and accounts.
Highly customer focused, strong commercial acumen and communication skills.
Strategic thinking and planning, with strong decision-making skills.
Confident working with key Microsoft Office and ERP applications.
Keen management and leadership skills (desirable).
Packaging industry experience, skills and knowledge (desirable but not essential)
