About the role – Art & Photography Teacher

We are seeking an inspiring Art & Photography Teacher to join our secondary academy and deliver creative, high-quality lessons across Key Stages. You will nurture students’ artistic skills, encourage experimentation with different media, and develop their understanding of photographic techniques, digital editing, and visual storytelling. The successful candidate will have strong subject knowledge, enthusiasm for both disciplines, and the ability to motivate learners of all abilities. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic department, support exhibitions and creative projects, and help students build confidence and achieve their full potential in Art and Photography.

About the school – Art & Photography Teacher

This mixed secondary academy in Tower Hamlets caters to students aged 11–19. Newly opened in 2016, it is part of a wider multi-academy trust that also includes several primary schools. With just under 500 pupils on roll, the school offers a broad, knowledge-rich curriculum across Key Stages 3 and 4, with an emphasis on small class sizes and depth of understanding.
