We are working on behalf of a forward-thinking and inclusive school to recruit an ambitious and experienced Assistant Headteacher to join the senior leadership team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an outstanding practitioner ready to take the next step into leadership, or an existing Assistant Headteacher seeking a new challenge. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving school improvement, supporting staff development, and ensuring high standards of teaching, learning, and student outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Headteacher in the strategic leadership and day-to-day management of the school
Lead on key whole-school priorities (e.g. teaching & learning, behaviour, curriculum, or pastoral - depending on experience)
Monitor and evaluate the quality of teaching and learning across the school
Use data effectively to drive improvement and raise attainment
Line manage staff and contribute to their professional development
Promote a positive, inclusive, and high-expectations school cultureRequirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Proven track record of outstanding teaching and leadership
Experience in middle or senior leadership within a school setting
Strong understanding of school improvement strategies
Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
