This Assistant Management Accountant position is a brilliant opportunity to work closely with a Management Accountant and Financial Controller, gaining hands‑on experience across month‑end and reporting.

The role:

Assisting with P&L and Balance Sheet reconciliations
Preparing weekly/monthly inventory movement trackers
Supporting margin by customer and cost of sales reporting
Tracking overheads, understanding, and explaining variances
Month‑end analysis (revenue vs spend)
Assisting with accruals and prepayments
Assisting with the production of the monthly management accounts
Supporting stock reporting and variance analysis
The person:

A good grounding in finance and month‑end processes
Strong Excel skills
AAT 4 or studying towards ACCA/CIMA
Curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to learn
A calm, organised approach in a busy environment
