An exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and hardworking Learning Support Assistant to support students in achieving their full potential. You will work closely with teaching staff and the SENCO to provide targeted support, both in class and through small group or 1:1 interventions.
Day-to-day responsibilities:
Support students in lessons to access learning and achieve success
Deliver small group interventions as directed by the SENCO
Provide 1:1 support for students with additional needs
Assist with personal care and medical needs (training provided)
Help create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
Monitor student progress and provide feedback to staff
Encourage independence, confidence, and positive behaviour
Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff
Adapt support strategies to meet individual student needs
