Job Description

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join a well-established, high-volume residential developer on a freelance basis. This is an ongoing role with a strong focus on finishing and snagging across multiple plots.

Key Responsibilities:

  * Managing and overseeing finishing trades across multiple units

  * Carrying out detailed snagging inspections and producing snag lists

  * Ensuring all plots are completed to a high standard prior to handover

  * Coordinating subcontractors to rectify defects in a timely manner

  * Monitoring quality control and ensuring NHBC standards are met

  * Assisting the Site Manager with day-to-day site operations

  * Driving progress to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Requirements:

  * Proven experience as an Assistant Site Manager within volume housebuilding

  * Strong background in finishing and snagging

  * Excellent eye for detail and high-quality standards

  * Ability to manage multiple plots simultaneously

  * Valid CSCS Card, SMSTS/SSSTS, and First Aid certification

  * Strong communication and organisational skills
