A leading, independent firm of Chartered Accountants and Business Advisers based in Bradford is looking for an Audit & Accounts Manager to join the team.

Responsibilities as Audit & Accounts Manager

Proactively lead and manage a portfolio of clients across a range of sectors.
Plan, execute, and complete audit and accounts assignments in line with regulatory standards.
Supervise and mentor junior team members.
Review work and ensure high-quality deliverables, reporting to directors.
Attend client and prospect client meetings and build and maintain strong client relationships,
Work alongside the leadership team and liaising with internal departments.
Contribute to business development and the growth of the firm.
Assist the directors with ad hoc advisory services and special work.
Manage work in progress and billing including agreement of fees on your portfolio of engagements.
Skills & experience we’re looking for in an Audit & Accounts Manager:

ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent).
Previous experience in audit and accounts.
Strong technical knowledge of UK auditing and accounting standards.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
A proactive and client-focused approach.
Full UK driving licence.
