Building Services Manager Location: Oxford Salary: £70,000 – £85,000 Type: Permanent | Full Time The Opportunity A well-established contractor operating across the UK is looking to bring in a Building Services Manager to support the delivery of high-value projects. This is a business that continues to grow steadily, with a strong pipeline of work and a reputation for delivering quality schemes across multiple sectors. You’ll be joining a collaborative team where standards are high, but people are treated properly. Why consider it? Key responsibilities include: Overseeing M&E design coordination, delivery, and commissioning Working alongside pre-construction teams to ensure proposals meet client and contract requirements Managing design information, drawings, and approvals in line with programme Ensuring compliance with regulations, specs, and third-party standards Integrating building services into the overall construction programme Driving quality standards across all M&E elements Monitoring progress and supporting delivery teams with specialist subcontractors Assisting commercial teams with variations and valuations Leading commissioning, handover, and end-user training Attending and leading technical and progress meetings What they’re looking for Proven experience managing building services on construction projects Background in either mechanical or electrical disciplines Experience working for a main contractor, consultancy, or specialist subcontractor Relevant qualification (HNC/HND/Degree in Building Services or similar preferred) Strong coordination and communication skills
