BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR (NEW LOGO ACQUISITION SPAIN) Digital Engineering | Custom Software Development | Consulting Services Location: Spain (Remote) Salary: €96,000-€120,000 base (depending on experience) + approx. €80,000 OTE + excellent blue-chip benefits Commission: Approx. 4.5% of revenue, paid upon client signature Employment: Full-time, Permanent Are you a tenured Business Development professional with a proven track record of winning new enterprise clients in Spain? Do you have 5-15 years of experience selling outsourced software development, digital engineering or consulting services? We are partnering with a global digital engineering organisation seeking an exceptional Business Development Director to drive new business growth in the Spanish market. This is a first-on-the-ground role offering significant strategic influence, ownership and long-term leadership potential. About the Organisation Our client is a well-established digital engineering and product development organisation with more than 2,000 specialists worldwide. For over 25 years, they have delivered end-to-end digital solutions to global brands across Financial Services, Retail, E-commerce, Travel, Media, Technology and other innovation-led sectors. They specialise in engineered digital products, bespoke software development, cloud-native applications, mobile solutions, digital modernisation, UX/UI design and advanced technology initiatives including AI and data. About the Role This is a pure hunter, new-logo acquisition role focused on Spain. You will: * Build and manage a high-value pipeline of enterprise prospects * Target decision-makers such as CIOs, CTOs, CDOs, Heads of Digital, Heads of Product and Engineering Directors * Lead a consultative, multi-stakeholder sales process * Shape solution proposals with technical leads and pre-sales teams * Deliver compelling pitches and win new revenue * Prospect via networking, outreach, events, cold approaches and personal relationships * Represent the organisation in the Spanish FinTech/FS, Retail, E-commerce, Travel, Media and Technology sectors * Operate autonomously while collaborating with global sales and delivery teams This is a strategic role requiring maturity, commercial judgement and a deep understanding of the digital engineering space. What We Are Looking For Essential experience: * 5-15 years in B2B sales or business development * Strong tenure (no frequent moves; ideally 3-5 years per employer) * Proven hunter with a track record of acquiring new enterprise clients * Experience selling custom software development or digital engineering services * Strong network and sales experience within Spain (Financial Services experience highly advantageous) * Ability to engage senior technology and digital stakeholders * Strong understanding of digital product development and engineering delivery models * Fluent Spanish and English Personal qualities: * Consultative selling approach * Commercially strong with excellent communication and influencing skills * Entrepreneurial, proactive, strategic and self-motivated * Able to work independently and build a market from the ground up Rewards & Benefits * €96,000-€120,000 base salary, depending on experience * OTE approximately €80,000 * Commission approx. 4.5% of revenue, paid upon signature of contract * Excellent blue-chip benefits package * Remote working within Spain * Significant scope for long-term leadership and strategic influence How to Apply If you are an experienced Business Development professional with consistent tenure and a strong record selling digital engineering or software development services in Spain, please apply with your CV and full contact details. #(phone number removed)
