Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative CAD Technician to join our dynamic design team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings and models for a variety of projects. Duties

  * Develop detailed 2D and 3D models using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Inventor.

  * Create schematics, technical drawings, and plans adhering to project specifications and industry standards

  * Collaborate with engineers, and designers to refine designs and ensure accuracy

  * Prepare detailed documentation for fabrication processes

  * Support system design activities by integrating various CAD tools to optimise project workflows

Skills

  * Proficiency in AutoCAD and Inventor

  * Strong understanding of schematics development and technical drawing standards

  * Experience with fabrication documentation and system design processes

  * Knowledge of graphic design principles relevant to visualising architectural or engineering concepts

  * Ability to interpret technical specifications and translate them into precise CAD models

  * Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in all work outputs

  * Effective communication skills to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
