CAD Technician – Shopfitting / Glazing / Curtain Walling
Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 per annum (DOE)
Location: Office-based (with potential 1 day per week hybrid flexibility)
Type: Permanent
Start: ASAP

We’re seeking a mid-level CAD Technician to join a busy and growing specialist contractor within the shopfitting and glazing / curtain walling sector. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with solid technical drawing experience who enjoys working closely with design and structural teams to deliver high-quality projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  * 

    Produce and coordinate detailed CAD drawings for shopfronts, glazing, and curtain walling systems.

  * 

    Liaise with structural engineers, designers, and project teams to ensure accuracy and buildability.

  * 

    Support design development from concept through to fabrication and installation.

  * 

    Manage drawing revisions and ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.

  * 

    Collaborate effectively with the wider technical and project delivery teams.

Requirements:

  * 

    Proven experience as a CAD Technician within shopfitting, glazing, curtain walling, or similar construction environments.

  * 

    Strong AutoCAD (or similar) skills.

  * 

    Solid understanding of fabrication and installation drawings.

  * 

    Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.

  * 

    Proactive and reliable, ideally with a few years’ experience in a similar office-based role.
