Chef / Café Manager – Independent Café (Salisbury, Wiltshire)
Salary: Circa £30,000 per annum

We are delighted to be working on behalf of a well-loved, independent café in the heart of Salisbury, Wiltshire, who are looking to appoint a talented and hands-on Chef / Café Manager.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced chef ready to step into a leadership role, or an existing manager who enjoys being fully involved in the kitchen. The role offers a great work-life balance with daytime-only hours.

Position Details:

  * 

    Location: Salisbury, Wiltshire

  * 

    Hours: 5–6 days per week, 8:00am – 4:00pm

  * 

    Salary: Circa £30,000 per annum

  * 

    Type: Full-time, permanent

Key Responsibilities:

  * 

    Preparing and delivering high-quality breakfast, brunch, and lunch dishes

  * 

    Overseeing day-to-day kitchen operations

  * 

    Managing stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships

  * 

    Leading, training, and motivating a small team

  * 

    Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and cleanliness

  * 

    Supporting the smooth running of the café, including front-of-house when required

  * 

    Contributing to menu development and seasonal offerings

What We’re Looking For:

  * 

    Proven experience as a chef within a café, brunch, or similar environment

  * 

    Previous supervisory or management experience (or a strong desire to step up)

  * 

    Passion for fresh, high-quality food and customer experience

  * 

    Strong organisational and leadership skills

  * 

    A proactive, reliable, and positive attitude
