We’re in the exciting early stages of launching a brand-new children’s home in Bolsover — and we’re looking for a small, dedicated team of Support Workers to help us bring our vision to life.
This is your chance to join from day one and help create a safe, caring, and nurturing home for the young people we’ll support. You’ll be part of a brand-new team, working alongside a passionate Registered Manager and leadership team who truly value collaboration, empathy, and consistency in care.
About the Role
As a Support Worker, you’ll play a key role in the daily lives of the children and young people we care for. You’ll provide emotional and practical support, help build their confidence, and encourage them to reach their potential — all while making sure the home is a positive, safe, and stable place to live.
Your day-to-day will include:

Supporting children and young people in line with their individual care plans

Encouraging independence, life skills, and positive routines
*
Building trusting relationships through consistency and compassion

Helping create a warm, homely environment where everyone feels valued

Working as part of a supportive team that celebrates small wins and shared goals
About You
We’re looking for people who:

Genuinely care about making a difference in children’s lives
*
Have experience working with children or young people (residential or similar setting preferred, but not essential)
*
Are patient, reliable, and resilient under pressure
*
Are open to learning and growing as part of a new team
*
Hold (or are willing to work towards) a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare
