Job Title: Children's Support Worker - Secure Unit
Location: Peterborough
Salary: £18.00 - £19.00 per hour

About the Role:
We are currently recruiting experienced and resilient Children's Support Workers to join a secure unit in Peterborough. This is a highly rewarding role supporting vulnerable children and young people with complex needs in a structured and secure environment. You will play a key role in promoting safety, stability, and positive behavioural outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality care and supervision within a secure setting
Support children and young people with emotional and behavioural needs
Safely manage challenging behaviours in line with training and policies
Build professional, trusting relationships with young people
Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver care plans
Maintain accurate records and reportsRequirements:

Minimum of 6 months' UK experience working with children or young people
Valid restraint training (e.g. MAPA, CPI, or equivalent) - essential
Strong communication and de-escalation skills
Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage challenging situations
Flexible to work shifts, including evenings and weekendsDesirable (but not essential):

Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
Relevant qualification in Health & Social Care or ChildcareWhat We Offer:
