🕒 Monday – Friday, 08:30 – 17:30
💰 Salary: From £26,000 DOE

Commercial Recruitment is pleased to be recruiting for a detail-driven and highly organised Vendor Support professional to join a fast-paced and growing business in Peterborough.

This role is ideal for a Completer-Finisher personality (Belbin theory) — someone who takes pride in accuracy, follows tasks through to completion, and ensures everything is delivered to the highest possible standard.

The Role

This is a varied position combining account management, administration, and client support. You will act as a key point of contact for vendors and buyers, ensuring all processes are completed efficiently, accurately, and within deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

  * Manage and support key client accounts, ensuring all processes meet required SLAs

  * Deliver exceptional customer service via phone, email, and in person

  * Ensure all administrative tasks are completed thoroughly and accurately

  * Support the sales process from onboarding through to post-sale completion

  * Maintain accurate records and ensure all systems are consistently updated

  * Liaise with internal teams to ensure smooth coordination of activities

  * Monitor accounts and proactively follow up on outstanding actions

  * Re-engage dormant clients and support ongoing relationship development

About You

  * A natural Completer-Finisher – highly detail-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility

  * Excellent organisational and time management skills

  * Strong communication skills and a professional approach

  * Able to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy

  * Proactive and able to take ownership of tasks from start to finish

  * Previous experience in administration, account management, or a customer-facing role is desirable
