Job Description

Due to a continued growth we are recruiting for a CNC Machinist to join our leading client based in Sheffield on a permanent basis. Successful candidates will be time served to ensure that jobs are manufactured in accordance with supplied technical drawings and specifications.

Candidates will be required to programme, set and operate a range of CNC Horizontal and Vertical Borers utilising Fagor or Fanuc controls.

2 Week shift Pattern –

Week 1 on days - Monday - Friday 06:00 - 14:30

Week 2 on nights – Monday – Thursday 18:00 - 04:00

Overtime paid at premium rates.

The Ideal candidates will have :

  * Experience working within a machine shop environment machining high grade materials including Inconel

  * The ability to programme set and operate CNC Borers utilising Fagor or Fanuc controls

  * The ability to read, understand and work to engineering drawings.

Candidate Skills

  * Ideally Time-served with demonstrable experience with Horizontal and Vertical Borers

  * Experience using Fanuc /Fagor

  * Experience working with a range of materials including Stainless Steel, Duplex, Inconel
