CNC Press Brake Setter Operator
Location: Garforth, Leeds UK
Job Type: Full-Time, 26weeks temp to perm (Like a probationary period) 12 weeks work initially dependant on orders.
Salary: £15.50ph
Hours: 7am-4pm Monday to Thurs, 7am-12pm Friday early finish

Specialist ISO certified, precision engineering and manufacturer in design and fabrication for a range of industrial finished assemblies of engineering equipment and varying machinery. Machinery onsite cover laser cutting, press brakes and a team of highly experienced fabricators to deliver solutions from small one-off jobs to large projects, working with a variety of materials including stainless, mild, Plastisol galvanised steel and Zintec.

Daily duties as CNC Press Brake Setter Operator:
The ideal candidate will be a skilled CNC Press Brake setter operator in a metal shop an be familiar with one-offs and batch work, consistently working to fibre cutting precision finish standards, working from engineering drawings. 

You will be a crucial part of our production process, responsible for setting and operating our advanced CNC Bystronic Press Brake machine (Bystronic control panel) to produce high-quality fabricated components.

Key Responsibilities of the successful CNC Press Brake Setter Operator:
* Setting and operating a range of CNC Press Brake tools (up to 100tonne), accurately setting the panels to be cut or folded according to engineering specifications.
* Assembly & Folding: Performing daily duties within the machine shop area, which include the assembling and folding of machined steel products.
* Quality Control: Interpreting complex engineering drawings to accurately read and transfer dimensions and settings to achieve the desired finish on all components.
* Material Handling: Working proficiently with various materials including, but not limited to, stainless steel and mild steel.
* (Desirable but not essential) CNC Laser Operation: Setting and operating our CNC fibre laser cutting machine (Esprit machine with Rexroth bespoke control panel) ensuring panels are correctly set for cutting, and verifying that the machine program aligns perfectly with the provided drawings and cutting templates.
* Troubleshooting: Identifying and diagnosing issues during the setting and operating process and implementing effective corrections to maintain production efficiency and quality standards.

Required Skills & Experience as CNC Press Brake Setter Operator:

* Proven experience setting-up and operating CNC Press Brake machines
* Familiarity with both one-offs and batch production work.
* Strong ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, unsupervised
* Folding and assembly of precision products and assisting with other general labouring duties in the machine shop area.
* Precision-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.

Desired (But Not Essential) Experience as CNC Press Brake Setter Operator:

* Previous experience with specific CNC Press Brake manufacturers such as Amada, Edward Pearson, Bystronic, etc
* Experience operating CNC Laser machines, particularly Esprit Laser machines with bespoke Rexroth control panels (fibre cutting laser)
