We are currently recruiting for a Community Events Support Officer to support the planning and delivery of events across parks and open spaces.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong organisational and administrative skills who enjoys being part of community-focused projects.
The Role
* Administer and manage event applications from external organisers
* Support the planning and coordination of community events
* Ensure events are compliant with policies, safety requirements, and regulations
* Liaise with internal teams, partners, and event organisers
* Help ensure public safety and protection of green spaces
* Attend events when required (including occasional evenings/weekends)
Requirements
* Strong administrative and organisational skills
* Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination ability
* Experience in events, local authority, or community work (desirable)
* Full UK driving licence
* Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends
* Basic DBS required
