Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Computer Science Teacher to join a well-established secondary school in Shrewsbury on a full-time, ongoing basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Teacher who is passionate about inspiring the next generation of digital innovators.

About the Role:

Full-time teaching position delivering Computer Science across KS3–KS4 (KS5 desirable)

Includes full teaching responsibilities: planning, preparation, and marking

Create engaging, challenging, and inclusive lessons that promote curiosity and achievement in computing and digital literacy

Contribute to the wider school community and department initiatives

About You:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification

Strong subject knowledge in Computer Science and related technologies

Ability to motivate and engage students of all abilities

Excellent classroom management and communication skills

Requirements

To be considered for the role you will:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS
Strong classroom management and a passion for teaching.
The ability to adapt quickly and work effectively in different school environments.
An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS
