Controls Engineer

Poole, Dorset

£50,000 - £52,000 + Bonus

Monday - Friday 8.00am - 4.00pm

Due to retirement we're Looking for an Controls Engineer who's ready to take ownership, innovate, and make an immediate impact in a busy manufacturing company based in Poole. With a reputation at second to none, genuine training, development and progression opportunities this is an exciting time to join the business

Roles/Responsibilities

  * Update & modernise control, automation and electrical systems including PLC’s, HMI, SCADA & Instrumentation

  * Updating maintenance systems to provide feedback no tasks to ensure maintenance systems are kept up to date

  * Providing automation, control and electrical support for engineering functions

  * Identifying improvements and efficiency on machinery and involved in project work

What We're Looking For

  * Electrical or Systems Engineering qualification

  * Experience within a manufacturing environment, particularly Food or packaging

  * PLC programming language – Siemens, Rockwell, Allen Bradley
