Job Title: Corrugation Extrusion Setter

Location: West Bromwich

Hours: 48 hours per week, 2-week rotating shift pattern

•             Monday - Thursday 6am - 6pm OR 6pm - 6am

Hourly Pay: £15.13-£16.25 ( 22%-25% Shift allowence included into salary)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Corrugation Extrusion Setter to join our manufacturing team in West Bromwich, supporting the production of high-quality flexible piping and hose products. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in plastic extrusion, particularly working with Nylon and Polypropylene materials.

You will play a key role in ensuring smooth production, maintaining high-quality standards, and driving continuous improvement in the area.

Key Responsibilities

•             Set up and operate corrugation extrusion machines efficiently and safely.

•             Maintain tools and equipment, including cleaning and routine checks.

•             Inspect incoming and outgoing materials to ensure quality standards are met.

•             Maintain accurate production and quality records.

•             Follow and promote 5S standards in your work area.

•             Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes.

•             Comply with all health & safety procedures.

•             Undertake any other duties as assigned by your Team Leader.

What We're Looking For

•             Proven experience in plastic extrusion manufacturing, preferably making hoses or pipes.

•             Hands-on experience with Nylon and Polypropylene materials (blown film extrusion experience is not suitable).

•             Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently.

•             Motivation to meet production targets safely while maintaining required quality standards.

•             Commitment to continuous improvement and adherence to company values.
