Job Description

A leading main contractor is seeking a talented CSA Design Engineer to join their head office design team in Dublin, supporting the delivery of major data centre projects across Europe. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale, technically complex developments within a fast-growing sector.

The ideal candidate will come from a similar background and have relevant experience in civil, structural, or architectural design. Key Responsibilities:

  * 

    Develop and review detailed CSA designs for data centre projects, including civil works, structural steel, and architectural elements.

  * 

    Coordinate design activities with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical, electrical, and project delivery functions.

  * 

    Prepare design documentation, specifications, and construction drawings in line with project and client requirements.

  * 

    Liaise with clients, contractors, consultants, and suppliers to ensure design intent and project objectives are achieved.

  * 

    Support construction, commissioning, and handover phases with technical input and design validation.

  * 

    Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, standards, and health & safety regulations.

Skills & Experience:

  * 

    Degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering (or related discipline).

  * 

    3–8 years’ experience in CSA design, ideally within data centre, industrial, or large commercial projects.

  * 

    Strong understanding of structural design principles, concrete and steel structures, and architectural detailing.

  * 

    Proficiency with design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla, or similar BIM tools.

  * 

    Excellent communication, coordination, and teamwork skills with strong attention to detail.
