Demolition Contracts Manager

 Northeast England
  £75,000 - £85,000 DOE + Package

Are you an experienced Demolition Contracts Manager looking to join a well-established contractor with an excellent reputation in the industry?

Our client is a highly respected Civil Engineering & Demolition Contractor with over 50 years of successful trading history, delivering complex demolition and enabling works projects across a range of sectors. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Demolition Contracts Manager to oversee projects throughout the Northeast of England.

The Role

As Demolition Contracts Manager, you will take responsibility for the successful delivery of multiple demolition projects, typically managing 2-3 contracts simultaneously, with project values of up to £5 million.

Working closely with site teams, clients, and senior management, you will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

Managing multiple demolition projects across the Northeast.
Overseeing projects from pre-construction through to completion.
Ensuring all works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with programme requirements.
Managing project budgets and maintaining strong commercial performance.
Monitoring costs, profitability, and project forecasts.
Coordinating site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Providing regular project updates to senior management.
Requirements

Proven experience working as a Contracts/Project Manager with a demolition contractor.
Strong track record managing residential and commercial demolition projects.
Experience overseeing multiple projects simultaneously.
Good commercial awareness with the ability to manage budgets and maximise project profitability.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Full UK Driving Licence.
