About the Organisation & Home:

About the Role:
Support the Home Manager with day-to-day operations and leadership
Lead, mentor and inspire the team to deliver exceptional child-centred care
Model best practice and uphold the home's therapeutic approach
Assist with staff development, supervision, coaching and rota oversight
Help shape the home's culture, structure and future direction
Take responsibility when the Manager is absent, ensuring high standards are maintained
Support with behaviour management, safeguarding and regulatory requirements
Encourage independence, empowerment, dignity and positive relationships
Play a key role in maintaining a safe, nurturing and inclusive home environment
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years' experience in a residential children's home (Senior or Deputy level)
NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Children & Young People (Residential Pathway)
Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations & safeguarding procedures
Experience with rotas, budgets and team supervision
Confident, proactive, and passionate about positive outcomes for children
A strong role model with a hands-on leadership style
Full UK Driving Licence
