Job Description

TeacherActive are proud to be supporting a high-achieving, values-driven secondary school in Bolton. Known for its supportive leadership, strong pastoral culture and well-resourced DT department, the school is now looking for a confident Design & Technology Teacher to join them after the Christmas break. This role is full time and will run until February half-term in the first instance.

About the Role:

Full-time Design & Technology teaching across KS3–KS4

Initially until Feb half-term (with potential to extend)

Specialisms welcome across Resistant Materials, Food or Textiles

Deliver engaging, practical lessons with strong behaviour management

What We’re Looking For:

QTS and experience teaching DT in UK secondary schools

Confident in at least one DT specialism

Strong classroom presence and ability to inspire creative learning

Reliable, proactive, and able to integrate smoothly into the department
