Service Care are recruiting for an Educational Mental Health Practitioner
Location: Glossop
Hours: Part-time or Full-time
Pay: £30 per hour
Role Overview
Deliver evidence-based interventions for mild to moderate mental health issues
Support the Senior Mental Health Lead to introduce and develop the Whole School Approach (WSA)
Provide timely advice to education staff and liaise with specialist services to ensure children and young people (CYP) receive the right support and remain in educationEssential Knowledge & Skills
Understanding of educational environments
Knowledge of safeguarding issues
Knowledge of capacity and consent issues, including Gillick competenceExperience Required
Working with children and young people, their families, and other professionals
Liaising with a wide variety of agencies and stakeholders
Supporting children and young people with social, emotional, and/or behavioural difficulties
Experience with anxiety and affective (mood) disorders
Delivery of specific therapeutic interventions (e.g., CBT, solution-focused brief therapy)Interested?
