Job Description

I'm currently working on a really interesting opportunity with a client based in Dublin, and I thought it could be of interest.

They're looking to bring in an experienced HSE Manager on a 9-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. While initially a contract role, there is strong potential for it to extend or develop into something longer-term due to ongoing business growth.

This will be a Dublin-based, primarily office-focused role, with some initial site visits to get familiar with systems and operations

Key responsibilities will include:

Lead the implementation of the company's EHS management systems in line with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001
Provide expert guidance and support to project teams across all aspects of health, safety, and environmental management
Monitor compliance with Irish and UK EHS legislation and company standards
Conduct site audits, inspections, and risk assessments, ensuring actions are effectively closed out
Drive incident investigations, ensuring root cause analysis and effective close-out of actions
Support onboarding processes, including induction compliance and training verification
Engage with site management, subcontractors, and stakeholders to promote a strong safety culture
Prepare and present EHS performance reports to senior management
Support continuous improvement initiatives and lead key safety campaignsWhat they're looking for:

Strong construction sector knowledge
