Electrician – SC Clearance Required – Reading
📍 Reading
💰 £240 – £250 per day

🚨 PLEASE NOTE: ACTIVE SC CLEARANCE (OR THE ABILITY TO OBTAIN IT) IS ESSENTIAL FOR THIS ROLE 🚨

We are currently recruiting for experienced Electricians to work on a high-security site in Reading. Due to the sensitive nature of the project, you must either already hold Security Clearance (SC) or be eligible and willing to undergo the clearance process.

🔧 The Role

  * Carry out electrical installation, maintenance, and remedial works

  * Work on commercial and industrial systems

  * Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

  * Complete detailed job reports and documentation

  * Follow strict health & safety and compliance procedures

  * Operate within a permit-to-work system on a secure site

🔐 Security Requirement (Essential)

  * Must hold active SC Clearance, OR

  * Must be eligible and willing to undergo SC clearance (no exceptions)

✅ Requirements

  * NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)

  * Valid ECS Card (Gold preferred)

  * 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)

  * Proven experience on commercial or industrial projects

⭐ Desirable

  * Inspection & Testing (2391 or equivalent)

  * Previous experience on MOD, nuclear, or other high-security sites

  * SSSTS

  * Strong understanding of compliance and reporting
