Primary School Cook - Morpeth
 £15 per hour | 5 hours per day | Monday to Friday | Immediate Start

Empowering Learning are currently working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in Morpeth to recruit an experienced and reliable School Cook to join their team as soon as possible.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about preparing nutritious meals for children and enjoys working in a school environment.

Key Details:

Location: Morpeth
Hours: 5 hours per day, Monday to Friday
Pay Rate: £15 per hour
Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities:

Preparing and cooking healthy, balanced meals in line with school standards
Managing kitchen hygiene and food safety requirements
Ordering and managing stock
Ensuring dietary requirements and allergies are catered for
Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment

Requirements:

Previous experience as a cook, ideally in a school or similar setting
Knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one immediately
