Fabric engiener:
I'm recruiting for a skilled and reliable Fabric Technician to join our team. This is a hands-on role focused on the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of building fabric across our sites. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring facilities remain safe, functional, and presentable.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on building fabric elements
Perform general repairs including carpentry, basic plumbing, painting, and patch plastering
Conduct routine inspections and identify defects or required remedial works
Respond to call-outs as part of a rota, ensuring timely resolution of issues
Maintain accurate records of work completedRequirements
Proven experience in a Fabric Technician or similar maintenance role
Multi-skilled background (e.g. carpentry, decorating, minor plumbing)
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Full UK driving license (if role involves travel between sites)
Basic understanding of health and safety practicesWhat We Offer
Competitive salary of £33,000
Call-out retainer in addition to salary
Overtime opportunities
37.5-hour working week
