Salary: £27,702 - £41,892 per annum (dependent on experience)

We are seeking an inspiring and enthusiastic English Lecturer to deliver high-quality teaching to 16+ learners re-sitting their English GCSE or completing Functional Skills qualifications.

Role Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and creative lessons in GCSE and Functional Skills English to learners aged 16+.
Teach part-time adult learners through evening classes as required.
Plan, deliver, and assess lessons that inspire confidence and achievement.
Support learners in achieving a minimum of grade 4 at GCSE level.
Monitor student progress and provide effective feedback to maximise success.
Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and enhance curriculum design.
Essential Requirements
Degree in English or related subject, or Level 5 qualification in teaching English.
Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed) or willingness to obtain one.
Experience delivering English at GCSE and/or Functional Skills level.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Commitment to inclusive, learner-focused education.
Flexibility to work across multiple campuses.
