Location: South Leicestershire
Hours: 2pm-10pm (Afternoon Shift)
Pay: £13.00-£13.50 per hour (DOE)

A well established manufacturer of hotel, office and commercial furniture. Specialising in high-end commercial furniture from design and manufacture through to installation.

About the Role:

If you take pride in solid, hands-on work and want to be part of a team that builds things properly, this role is worth your attention. A well-established furniture manufacturer is looking for a reliable General Assembly Operative to join their workshop. You don't need to come from a carpentry or joinery background, but if you have that experience, it'll serve you well. What does matter is that you're confident using both hand and power tools and you're comfortable with the physical side of the job - some lifting will be part of the daily routine.

Key Responsibilities:

Assembling high-quality furniture components to set specifications

Working with a range of tools safely and accurately

Following production plans and meeting time targets without cutting corners

Maintaining a tidy, organised work area

Supporting the wider workshop team as needed

About You:

Competence with hand and power tools

A steady approach, good attention to detail, and pride in well-made work

Willingness to handle heavy materials

Previous carpentry/joinery experience is an advantage, not a requirement

Reliability and a positive, practical mindset
