 Middlesbrough | £33,000 - £37,000

A growing engineering consultancy is looking for a Geoenvironmental Engineer to join their team in Middlesbrough. This is a great opportunity to work on a variety of projects across the North East, supporting land development and environmental assessments.

Whether you're early in your career or looking for your next step, this role offers a strong mix of site work, office-based reporting, and career progression.

The Role

You'll be involved in investigating land conditions and helping clients understand any environmental risks before development begins. The role includes both outdoor site work and office-based tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Assisting with site investigations and ground surveys
Collecting soil and groundwater samples
Writing clear and concise reports
Interpreting data and helping assess environmental risks
Supporting remediation and development projects
Liaising with clients, contractors, and colleagues 

Requirements

Degree in Geology, Environmental Science, or a related subject
Some experience in a similar role (consultancy or site-based)
Strong communication and report writing skills
Willingness to work both on-site and in the office
Full UK Driving Licence
