Geography Teacher – Lancaster

Full-Time | September 2026
 Location: Blackpool
 Contract: Full-time

A welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in Blackpool is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Geography Teacher to cover classes across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 from September 2026

About the Role

You will be responsible for delivering engaging and well-structured Geography lessons to KS3 and KS4 pupils, ensuring continuity of learning and maintaining high standards throughout this short-term cover period. The ideal candidate will be confident, adaptable, and passionate about inspiring students to understand and explore the world around them.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver high-quality Geography lessons across KS3 & KS4
Maintain a positive, purposeful, and well-managed classroom environment
Support students’ progress, learning, and engagement
Assess student work and provide constructive feedback
Uphold school policies and contribute to the wider school community
Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience delivering Geography at KS3 & KS4
Strong behaviour management and communication skills
Ability to adapt quickly and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons
A genuine passion for Geography and supporting student development
