Head of Supported Living | Area Manager Domiciliary Care

Learning Disability | Mental Health

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Our client, a reputable provider of supported living , is currently looking to recruit a Head of Supported Living on a temp to perm basis to help provide the highest levels of care to those living with learning disabilities and mental health issues.

  * £55,000 per annum

  * Fulltime role

  * Temp to perm

  * Provide strategic leadership and support to all supported living services around Essex

  * Job reference JO19555

SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  * You must be a Registered Manager with proven background in learning disabilities or mental health settings

  * You must have strong experience in supervising and developing Managers

  * Passion for learning disabilities and mental health care

  * Dedication to providing the highest levels of care

  * Budget management, report-writing and leading multidisciplinary teams

JOB REQUIREMENTS OF THE HEAD OF SUPPORTED LIVING SERVICES:

  * Supervise Support Living Managers

  * Be the lead on Active Support and Positive Behaviour Support

  * Oversee recruitment, retention and development of staff

  * Deputise for the Director of Learning Disabilities and Mental Health in their absence
