These schools are passionate about promoting the Welsh language and culture while providing an inclusive and supportive learning environment where pupils are encouraged to achieve their full potential.

We are looking to recruit a Welsh Medium Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for a full-time, long-term role starting in September. The successful Welsh Medium Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) will support teaching and learning across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, delivering interventions, covering classes where required and working closely with teachers to ensure pupils receive the highest standard of education.

The successful Welsh Medium Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) will have:

HLTA Status or a relevant Level 5 qualification
Fluent Welsh language skills, both spoken and written
Experience supporting teaching and learning within a UK primary school
A strong understanding of the Primary Curriculum across KS1 and KS2
Excellent communication and classroom management skills
A positive, flexible and proactive approach
