HLTA – Sports Specialism
 Location: Southwark
 Contract: Full time 
 Salary: £120 - £150 per day 

 We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) with a specialism in Sports and Physical Education to join our school. This is an exciting opportunity to support teaching and learning while inspiring pupils to develop confidence, teamwork, and a love of physical activity.

 The Role:

Support teachers in delivering high-quality PE and sports lessons, as well as contributing to broader curriculum activities.
Lead small groups or whole-class sessions in physical education, games, and fitness activities.
Plan, prepare, and organise resources for PE and sports activities.
Support pupils’ learning, personal development, and wellbeing.
Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment.
Assist with assessment and reporting on pupil progress.We are looking for someone who:

Has experience working in primary education, ideally with a focus on PE or sports.
Is passionate about encouraging physical activity, health, and wellbeing in children.
Has excellent communication and organisational skills.
Is flexible, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
