Job Description

TSA Surveying are currently working in partnership with a renowned Facilities Management provider to employ an experienced Health, Safety & Environment Manager to operate within the Southeast region on their MoD estate. The region has an annual turnover of over £180 Million and employs around 250 staff and over 5000 Sub-Contractors. 
 
As HSE Manager, you will play a key role in driving continuous improvement in safety culture and performance across the region. You will be a member of the Senior Management Team, leading HSE initiatives and ensuring the safe, compliant delivery of services.
 
Key responsibilities include:

Developing and implementing strategic HSE plans and initiatives
Leading, mentoring, and managing a team of 3 HSE Advisors
Driving continuous improvement in HSE culture and performance
Chairing strategic HSE meetings and producing high-level reports and analysis
Leading and overseeing investigations into incidents and accidents
Collaborating with senior stakeholders to embed HSE into project delivery
Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, environmental, and quality legislation 
The successful candidate will bring:

Proven experience in a senior HSE role within Defence, construction, or facilities management environments
Strong leadership and team management capabilities
Demonstrable experience managing HSE in high-risk operational settings
In-depth knowledge of HSE legislation, standards, and best practice
A proactive, strategic mindset with excellent stakeholder engagement skills 
Essential Requirements

Current BPSS/SC clearance (and the ability to obtain future DV Clearance)
NEBOSH Level 6 (or equivalent)
Experience working within a Defence environment (essential)
Sole UK National status (required for clearance)
