Job Description

V7 Recruitment are working in partnership with a leading engineering organisation to recruit a HSE Manager. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving health, safety, and environmental performance across the site, ensuring compliance with UK legislation while promoting a strong safety culture.
 
As the HSE Manager, you will lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of health, safety, and environmental systems within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will work closely with operational leaders to embed best practices and ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
 
Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies and procedures in line with UK legislation and industry best practice
Lead site risk assessments, audits, and inspections
Investigate incidents and accidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions
Deliver HSE training and awareness programmes across the organisation
Monitor compliance with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards
Provide expert advice to senior management on HSE matters
Manage environmental initiatives including waste management and sustainability programmes
Liaise with regulatory authorities and external auditors where required 
Requirements

Proven experience as an HSE Manager or Senior HSE Advisor within manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environments
NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification
Strong knowledge of UK HSE legislation
Strong incident investigation and risk management experience
