Our client, a leader in the data centre sector, is currently seeking a High Voltage (HV) Technical Lead to join their team on a permanent basis. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of HV electrical systems on major construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the entire lifecycle of HV projects, including design, planning, construction, technical compliance, commissioning, and handover
Inspire and motivate project teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with diverse stakeholders
Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to oversee project challenges
Ensure adherence to applicable codes, standards, and regulations for HV systems
Coordinate with designers, utility companies, and contractors to ensure seamless project delivery
Oversee the design processes and manage review/approval procedures
Ensure compliance with regional HV regulatory bodies
Mitigate project risks and uphold safety and quality standards
Maintain a solid understanding of health, safety, and environmental principles in HV operations

Job Requirements:

Significant experience in delivering HV electrical systems on large or complex construction projects
Background in engineering or construction, ideally with HV or energy infrastructure experience
Familiarity with utility protocols, commissioning practices, and safety standards for HV systems
Strong communication skills to liaise with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Proactive and detail-oriented approach with a commitment to safety and quality
