IMS Governance Manager - Sizewell C London, Bristol, Gloucester or Sizewell | Hybrid (3-4 days on site/office) | Regular travel to Suffolk Morson Talent, working in partnership with EDF, are proud to support the recruitment for Sizewell C (SZC) - one of the UK's most significant low-carbon infrastructure programmes. Building on the success of Hinkley Point C, SZC will play a key role in delivering secure, clean energy for decades to come. We're now seeking an experienced IMS Governance Manager to help shape and mature the Integrated Management System that underpins the project's licence, safety, quality and operational delivery. This is a high-profile role at the heart of a major nuclear new build, offering the opportunity to support a truly next-of-a-kind programme and influence business-wide ways of working. The Role Working closely with SZC stakeholders and the HPC project, you will lead the governance, development and continuous improvement of the Integrated Management System (IMS) and ensure intelligent replication of HPC's proven arrangements. You will maintain compliance with ONR requirements, international standards and internal governance, while supporting the business in embedding robust processes across engineering, construction, safety, supply chain and operations. You will also oversee the IMS enterprise architecture and content, lead governance forums, manage audits and certifications, and champion lessons learned across both SZC and HPC. This is a leadership position requiring strong stakeholder engagement, the ability to influence at all levels, and the confidence to act as the business's authority on IMS strategy and application. Key Accountabilities Maintain and enhance the IMS in line with LC17, ONR expectations, ISO standards and IAEA principles. Govern policies, processes and procedures to ensure they are current, controlled and effectively implemented. Lead external audits and certifications support internal reviews and management reporting. Provide evidence of compliance for ONR inspections and identify risks, gaps and corrective actions. Embed IMS requirements across all project functions and act as the focal point for internal teams and external partners. Share lessons learned with HPC and drive continuous improvement. Lead IMS governance forums and manage the IMS team's priorities and performance. Deputise for the Quality Assurance Manager when required. About You Knowledge & Skills Strong interpersonal and influencing skills able to build effective relationships across large, complex organisations. Expert understanding of IMS frameworks and ISO standards (ISO 9001, 19443, 14001, 45001, GSR-2/3). Confident communicator able to present to senior leaders, regulators and external stakeholders. Qualifications & Experience Essential: Degree-level education or equivalent experience in a major project or highly regulated sector. IRCA Lead Auditor (or equivalent experience). Extensive experience developing, implementing and maintaining Management Systems. Experience of enterprise architecture governance and content management. Experience managing or supervising small teams. Desirable: Major infrastructure project experience. Nuclear sector or UK regulatory environment knowledge. Experience engaging proactively with Regulators. Familiarity with nuclear management system standards.
