KS1 Class Teacher - September 2026 Start

Prospero Teaching are working in partnership with a welcoming and well-regarded primary school to recruit a Key Stage 1 Class Teacher for a September 2026 start.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher who is passionate about early learning and committed to supporting children during this crucial stage of their education.

The Role:

Full-time KS1 Class Teacher
Start date: September 2026
Planning and delivering engaging, creative lessons in line with the National Curriculum
Creating a safe, inclusive and nurturing classroom environment
Monitoring and assessing pupil progress and contributing to reports
Working collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and parents

The Ideal Candidate:

Holds QTS (or equivalent recognised teaching qualification)
Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 (ECTs are welcome to apply)
Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and phonics
Positive, nurturing approach with high expectations for all pupils
Excellent classroom management and communication skills

Pay & Benefits:

Paid to the Main Teacher Pay Scale (MPS)
