Learning Support Assistant – 1:1 Autism Support – Manchester Primary School ✨
 Location: Manchester
 Contract: Full-Time, Monday–Friday
 Role: Learning Support Assistant (1:1, Year 1 pupil)
 Start Date: Immediate / ASAP/ January 
Suitable for: Psychology graduates, SEN-related graduates, experienced LSAs/SEN TAs, and anyone passionate about SEN
 Salary: In line with support staff pay scale

Make a Real Difference in a Welcoming Manchester Primary School A warm and inclusive primary school in Manchester is seeking a kind and motivated Learning Support Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a Year 1 pupil with autism.
This rewarding role requires patience, consistency, and a nurturing approach to help her grow academically, socially, and emotionally.
 
About the Role 
✔ Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a Year 1 pupil with autism
 ✔ Support her learning, communication and emotional regulation
 ✔ Adapt activities and resources to help her access the curriculum
 ✔ Build a trusting relationship to promote confidence and independence
 ✔ Work collaboratively with the class teacher, SENCO, and wider SEN team
 ✔ Help create a calm, structured, and supportive learning environment
 
What We’re Looking For 
✔ A caring, patient, and understanding individual
 ✔ Experience with autism or SEN (advantageous but not required)
 ✔ Graduates in Psychology or SEN-related degrees highly encouraged to apply
 ✔ Strong communication and relationship-building skills
 ✔ Reliability, resilience, and a positive attitude
 ✔ Someone passionate about helping a child succeed
