At Quokka Education, we’re seeking a caring and proactive Learning Support Assistant to join a fantastic secondary school in Gosport. This is a full-time role starting in October 2025.

No classroom experience? No problem.

We’ll make sure you’re ready with:

• Experience days so you can try the role first
• Ongoing support from our friendly team

What success looks like as a Learning Support Assistant

First 30 days - Settle & Learn

• Shadow lessons and get to know the students
• Build confidence supporting individuals and small groups
• Learn routines, expectations, and SEN strategies

Days 30–60 - Grow & Contribute

• Take more ownership of 1:1 and small-group interventions
• Develop strong relationships with teachers and pastoral staff
• Support behaviour and emotional regulation with guidance from the SENCO

Days 60–90 - Make an Impact
• Lead targeted interventions with growing independence
• Become a steady, trusted presence for the students you support
• Bring your own ideas to help remove barriers to learning

This structure helps you grow at a healthy pace - with full support at every stage.

Hours: 8:30–3:30, term time only
Options: Full-time (part-time available)
