Engage Education is currently recruiting Teaching Assistants to work in a range of welcoming and supportive primary and secondary schools across Bolton. The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting pupils and teachers to create a positive and engaging learning environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

  * Supporting pupils on a one-to-one basis, in small groups, and within the classroom.

  * Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and classroom activities.

  * Encouraging pupil engagement, confidence, and independence.

  * Supporting children with varying learning needs, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN), where required.

  * Helping to maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment.

  * Monitoring pupil progress and providing feedback to teaching staff.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for candidates who have:

  * Experience working with children or young people in schools, childcare, coaching, tutoring, youth work, or similar settings.

  * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  * A positive, patient, and proactive attitude.

  * The ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff.

  * A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

  * An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.

  * The right to work in the UK.

Relevant qualifications, such as a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, are welcomed but not essential.
