Job Description

Level 2 Teaching Assistant - KS2 Support Role**

Aspire People are recruiting a confident and adaptable **Level 2 Teaching Assistant** to support within a KS2 classroom. This role is suited to someone who enjoys working with older primary pupils and supporting them with more structured and challenging learning.

You will support across the classroom, helping pupils stay engaged, understand key concepts, and prepare for progression through KS2.

**The Role:**
* Supporting the class teacher within a KS2 setting
* Working with small groups to reinforce learning objectives
* Supporting pupils with reading comprehension, writing, and maths
* Assisting with classroom behaviour and engagement
* Providing additional support to pupils who need extra guidance
* Helping to prepare pupils for assessments and increased expectations

**The Ideal Candidate:**
* Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent experience)
* Experience working with KS2 pupils
* Confident supporting Maths and English
* Strong behaviour management and communication skills
* Enthusiastic and committed to pupil development
