Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated Level 3 qualified Nursery Assistant to join a warm and welcoming school setting in Whitstable. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about early years education and supporting children’s development in a nurturing environment.

📘 Qualification: Level 3 Early Years qualification is essential

About the Role

As a Nursery Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting children aged 3–5 within the school’s nursery provision. You’ll work as part of an experienced Early Years team to create a safe, supportive and stimulating environment where children can learn and thrive.

Key Responsibilities

    Assist in delivering age-appropriate learning activities

    Support the planning and implementation of the Early Years curriculum

  * 

    Provide high-quality care and supervision

  * 

    Build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents

  * 

    Maintain a clean, safe and engaging learning space

  * 

    Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and school policies at all times

About You

  * 

    Must hold a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification

  * 

    Passionate about helping children grow, learn and develop

  * 

    Reliable, proactive, and able to work flexible shift patterns

  * 

    Strong communication and teamwork skills

  * 

    Experience in a nursery or school setting is desirable
