SEN Learning Support Assistant East Kent

Academics in Canterbury are seeking compassionate and resilient Supply SEN Learning Support Assistant's to support pupils with special educational needs across schools in East Kent, including Canterbury, Thanet, Dover, Whitstable/Herne Bay, Folkestone, and Hythe.

What you'll do as a Supply SEN Learning Support Assistant:

Provide 1:1 and small-group support for children with additional needs

Assist with tailored learning activities and promote classroom inclusion

Encourage independence, communication, emotional regulation, and confidence

Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, therapists, and parents to support pupil progress

What we're looking for in a SEN Learning Support Assistant:

Experience supporting children with SEN (in a school, nursery, or care setting)

Patience, empathy, and a proactive, positive approach

Flexibility to work across different schools and settings

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
