Exciting Opportunity: Level 3 Teaching Assistant - Stockport (SK4)
Start Date: January 2026
Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term

A welcoming primary school in Stockport is seeking a confident and committed Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a long-term role beginning in January 2026, with the potential to move onto a permanent school contract for the right candidate.
Rated "Good" under the latest OFSTED framework, this two-form entry school offers a warm and supportive environment, with a strong emphasis on staff development and pupil progress.

Role Highlights:
* General classroom support across KS2
* 2 hours per week of PPA cover - confidence in leading a full class is essential
* Supportive staff and leadership team
* Ongoing CPD and training opportunities
* Strong focus on literacy and numeracy development

Candidate Requirements:
* Minimum CACHE Level 3 qualification or a relevant degree with school-based experience
* Experience working within Key Stage 2
* Strong understanding of the national curriculum, particularly in Maths and English
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team
* Enthusiastic about pupil achievement and progress
* High expectations for behaviour and learning
* Caring and nurturing approach
