Progress Teachers are supporting an inclusive and welcoming mainstream primary school in Birmingham who are seeking a Level 3 qualified SEN Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated SEN Hub team. This full-time role involves supporting pupils in Key Stage 1 with a range of additional needs, helping them to fully engage in learning and make progress both academically and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored support to pupils with SEND within the KS1 SEN Hub
* Work 1:1 and in small groups to support learning and development
* Assist in adapting resources and activities to meet individual needs
* Promote positive behaviour and social interaction
* Work closely with the SENCO, teachers, and external agencies
* Maintain accurate records and contribute to reviews and progress planning
Requirements
* Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
* Experience supporting pupils with SEND (particularly within EYFS/KS1)
* Understanding of EHCP targets and differentiated learning
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* A nurturing, patient, and proactive approach
